The reason the analysts sell their pile of dog sh*t so easily to the &quot;business side project owners&quot; is because the &quot;business side project owners&quot; find it easier to pay for research (however biased) than conduct their own.  Furthermore, it then gives the &quot;business side project owner&quot; a faceless, fuzzy, 3rd party to blame when the enterprise software installation project is 18 months overdue and 250% over-budget.  It&#039;s a sick/sick cycle of brainless ooze.&lt;/p&gt;
